MI HIJOS

Hey Hey Hey Mi Hijos,
All Mexican's call each other by Mi Hija/o, Mi vida, Mi amor, etc. They're kind of dramatic in the way they talk and I love it! Now I finally understand why Nana would call me Mi Hija! Not because I'm literally her daughter, but because everyone  says that to each other and they don't know why. They also can't explain why they are obsessed with the moon, sun and stars decorations. We ask members/investigators all the time and they can't explain it, they just like them. This last week was pretty good. There is this trailer park that my comp and I nicknamed "the land of Bountiful" because there is a TON of investigators/referals there. Not even kidding, we spent ALL our proselitying time there on Friday. It was so fun, because everyone we talked to there was so nice, interested, and have tons of potential. We have several really great investigators. We are teaching this lady named Zoriada. She is amazing. I just love her. We have dinner with her this week. She is like our other mom, and she's not even a member. She told us we need to pray for our families more, because our mom's miss us. Haha, it's cute how sometimes the investigators teach you.

We had a fiesta on Saturday. It was a ward cena, celebrating Mother's day. It was so FUN!! The only down side is that they had this AWESOME latino music playing...and none of us missionaries are allowed to dance :( That just about killed me cause I wanted to join in when they started dancing after dinner. Once again, love latinos!

We had Zone Conference where we I learned a ton! It was so good. I love meetings where President comes and we get to learn how to be better teachers.

Welp, love you all!!
Love,

Hermana Salcido
