Hola Amigos

Hola Familia y amigos,

Welp, this last week was a good one. Kind of slow, but still good. The HEAT is here. On average it's about 109 and like 98 humidity...yeah it's cray. As ridiculously hot as it is I still would take this over anything lower than 70 that includes snow, which means it's great over here ;) Being a missionary is awesome! I'm learning so much about myself, other people, latinos, Texas, and the scriptures!! Okay, I thought I knew the scriptures well, until I got here and I'm all "Hey, who put that there?! I swear I never read/knew that before." It's fun. We found a new lady named Gabriela that has TONS of potential, and was so engaged in our lesson last week it was so cute. We teach her tonight, I'm so excited. Mari is finally starting to progress, and the work is going well. Transfers are next week. Ah, I'm so excited/nervous...I don't want to train, I hope I don't since I still don't know the language well enough. But President is pretty unpredicatable so we'll see what happens. Plus, I don't wanna leave. I LOVE pasadena and my ward!! The members are the BEST! Anyway, we'll see what happens. Here is a picture of Margarita and Maricela. They are our less actives from Peru. The old one we visit in the nursing home. They are the cutest! Anway, love you all!
