Yo Yo

Yo yo yo Fam and Friends what up??

Wow. This last week SO much happened!! Such a great week. So, last Monday I had exchanges in my area with Hermana Daines. She's the best. I love her! I decided we totally are going to serve together one day. Anyway, she got here to the field same time as me, so we were excited/nervous, because we both don't really know the language and were without our trainers. It was awesome though, and Daisy (this amazing investigator) excepted a baptizmal invitation on her first lesson!! Cool huh? Hermana Daines and I had such a good time. Then  on Wednesday Elder Golden and his wife of the first quorum of the seventy came to our zone conference and it was AMAZING! Wow. I learned so much. I felt like I was being taught the Plan of Salvation for the first time and it was awesome. I love meetings. ESPECIALLY when General Authorities come ;) Then yesterday we had the World Wide Leadership Training which was also wonderful. EVERY MEMBER A MISSIONARY! Seriously. Missionary work is the bomb. There is nothing better. Speaking of how cool missionary work is, we had our first baptizm yesterday!!! Valery was baptized AND Hermano Damien baptized her!! Wow. We have been working so hard with that less active family and now they are on the right track AND Valery was finally baptized. It was such a special moment. I don't think anyone understands what it feels like unless you have served a mission. It was so amazing. I teared up and couldn't stop smiling. I'm SO  happy for Valery and her dad and the whole family. Hermano Damien was so nervous, but he did it and it was so great. Welp, don't have time to write more, but take care and love you all!!

Love,
Hermana Draya Salcido
