Dear Friends and Family,
So this last week was(as mission President says) terrific!! First off: Just gotta say how much I love this companionship! We more than doubled our goals this last week. We taught SO many lessons, got so many new investigators and we brought Enrique's baptism goal up to the 22nd of this month! Ah, we are so excited for him! When we were talking to him on the phone yesterday his prima or tia or some relative took the phone from him and talked to us for a bit. She said she just wanted to thank us, because she sees the change in Enrique's life and how he is so happy. He was a very unhappy person before, drinking, lonely, etc. She is right, he really has changed. I thought it was so cute that even his family notices the change in him. So good! So, he is progressing great! Joaquin(our cuban friend) continues to come to church each week, and yesterday he even brought his girlfriend from San Antonio. It was awesome! He still has a ton of doubts, but what's great about him is he DOES want to know the truth and is working through them. We are teaching this other guy named Sergio now, and he is super interested. Like almost all our investigators he is single, in his 50's and lives in an apartment complex. Haha, all we do is teach single men, so most of our lessons are on door steps, but it's all good.
