MILAGROS

Mis amigos y familia,
Hello Hello Hello!!!
So, this last week was fabulous! So much happened.

Well first off like more than half our conversos recientes/menos activos moved last week which was sad, cause I love them all and will miss them! But we are seeing miracles with our other less actives! Atsili called us yesterday about what time church starts and then we showed up! She hasn't been in like 7 months. Such a miracle. I know it's because the ward members started getting involved. Missionary work cannot be done without willing members! Yay!

We had interviews with President Crawford and training with the AP's and Sister Crawford. Wow. It was all SO GREAT! I never understood why RM's talked about there mission President with such reverence, but now I do. I LOVE MY MISSION PRESIDENT! He is the best. He is so Christ like and so helpful. I just loved having interviews with him. Such a great person.

We met and taught this guy named Johnathon that wants to become a preacher one day. He's pretty great, but I think he secretly thinks he's gonna convert us to his religion. Jaja, sorry Jonny...not on your life(yeah...I just gave him that nick name...My secret hobby is to give people/investigators nicknames...Ask Chelsea...she knows) Anyway, but he's excited to learn more and he's quite the Gentleman to everyone. Vincint is doing great!!! He read some anti-mormon stuff, but we had such a good lesson with him that got him back on the right track. I'm so grateful that it's the Spirit that converts, and we're nothing more than the instruments in God's hands. We talked about how you need an answer from God not from the world to know what's true and whats not. He really wants to receive answers to prayers! And he finally came to church yesterday!!

Guess who else came to church yesterday...ENRIQUE!!! YAY! It's been a few weeks and they have been some of the saddest in the mission, because we've been so worried about him. But we taught him last week and he has totally got back on track and is changing his life around. He is such a great person and has had such a hard life. He is a different person since we left him that note and threw his last beer away for him. He is full of faith now and is determined to over come his addiction. He is even doing little things like cleaning up around and in his trailer, got rid of the borracho roommates etc. He openly tells us how grateful he is for us and how much he loves us. I'm grateful to teach him though!! He teaches me how to love others. Wow. He's the best!

We met two different young mothers this week, who both said they have been praying lately to find out what God wants them to go  and for help in their lives and then a few days later we met them! Isn't it so great how the Lord works?? Their names are Rocio and the other Gabbi! Gabbi has had the hardest life. I won't go into details but basically  everything hard has happened to her. She said she's tried everything to fix her depression/anxiety but NOTHING has helped. She said she was praying so hard the other night for God to show her what else she could do and then we met her yesterday. She said she usually is never outside but said she was sitting outside waiting for something and then we walked by. Wow. It was so great! She is so great and we had a great lesson with her. Her husband came out and gave us tons of food and she took several pictures with us, because she was so happy to meet us. Wow. So great!

Love,
Hermana Salcido
